Graduate Student of the Month
The Graduate College is pleased to recognize Michael Moghadasnia女人自慰视频 - 在线观看 - 影视资讯 as the November CEFNS graduate student of the month. Michael is genuinely a gifted student with great potential as a research scientist. Michael has been conducting an independent master’s research project in Dr. Stephanie Hurst’s laboratory since August 2018. Dr. Stephanie Hurst and Michael decided that his project would entail a challenging synthesis of a series of palladium sandwich complexes with thiol containing ligand groups.
女人自慰视频 - 在线观看 - 影视资讯Michael is highly intelligent (his graduate grade point average is a 4.0), inquisitive, motivated, and creative. Michael has just the right combination of assertiveness and respect to make him a joy to work with in the lab. He takes direction very well but is not timid about questioning experimental details or rationale. Even before entering the lab, he had read many articles that described recent advances with the organometallic complexes.
He has already been invited to a number of prestigious workshops including the American Chemical Society Summer School on Green Chemistry and Sustainability at the Colorado School of Mines (Golden, CO, July 2019), the Lawrence workshop on (Tempe, Az, February 2019) and the NSF Quantum Science Summer School at Penn State (State College, PA, June 2019). Congratulations Michael!
Graduate student spotlights
Emily Multer truly is amazing. Not only does she have strong academic writing, critical thinking skills, but also the ability to apply advanced practice clinical nursing skills in case study scenarios and assignments. She will be the first graduate from the Personalized Learning MS Nurse Generalist program this Fall. Her master’s project presentation focused on nurse burnout rates and initiating immediate debriefings after traumatic events and code situations for staff in an attempt to help lower burnout rates; all of this has occurred while working full-time as a critical care nurse.
The Tucson chapter of the foundation has unanimously selected NAU doctoral candidate, Heather Mead (PhD, Biological Sciences), as their Arizona P.E.O. scholarship candidate. The Philanthropic Educational Organization, with members in the United States and Canada, celebrates the advancement of women and serves to support the education of women and to motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. In 2019, the P.E.O. celebrated its 150 year anniversary! Heather will compete with other nominees from across the US and Canada. Congratulations, Heather, on your nomination!
